どうやって道案内をしようか考える前に、英語の語彙とフレーズを習得する必要があります。ここでは、便利なフレーズとその使用例をご紹介します。

道を尋ねる/道案内をする
道を尋ねる最も簡単な方法は、以下のフレーズを使用することです。

2.Excuse me, how can I get to …the city centre/ the bus station/ etc?
また、導入のフレーズを追加することもできます。やわらかい表現であるため、控えめな尋ね方になります。
1.Excuse me, can/could you tell me where the ………. is?
2.Excuse me, can/could you tell me/do you know how I can get to …..?
3.Excuse me, can/could you tell me how to get to ………………., please?
これらのフレーズでは、「can」と「could」のいずれかを使用します。礼儀正しい印象を与えたいなら、「could」を使いましょう。 また、フレーズ1とフレーズ2では語順が異なりますが、フレーズを使用する際には、この点を念頭に置いておきましょう。1番の例をさらに見ていきましょう。
