Change of British Council Director Japan
- Matt Burney appointed Director, effective 4 September -

The British Council announces a new Director Japan as follows: 

Newly appointed:
Director Japan, British Council (effective 4th September 2015)
Matt Burney 
[Currently Area Director East China, British Council, China]

The current Director Japan, Jeff Streeter, will remain in post until 3rd September 2015, when his four-year term of office expires and will move to Cairo, Egypt as Director Egypt, British Council.
