A special course for Primary Returnee students aimed at developing language, fluency and skills using a unique blend of UK coursebook and British Council specially designed materials.
On this course your child will:
Communication
- talk about and give an opinion on a range of texts
- present to an audience using appropriate intonation
- identify significant ideas, events and characters; and discuss their significance
Literacy
- write for different purposes, including real events
- discuss and record words and phrases that writers use to engage
- use a range of sentence starters to create specific effects
- write in paragraphs which can clearly signal a change in subject, time, place or event

An enquiry-based approach
We encourage our students to research, investigate and problem solve within topics, as well as developing critical thinking skills and producing real world tasks.

Primary school grade 1–6 students
Course format
- Two-year course, broken down into ‘A’ and ‘B’ years
- Each year breaks down into three terms starting in April, September and January
- 1.5-hour lesson per day, twice a week; or
- Three-hour lesson per day, once a week
