Learning English is an important skill for children to develop. We think it is important for children not to see English just as a subject, but as part of their whole learning experience.
Feedback from parents has shown there is an increased demand for skills that help improve all learning and development, and gives children a chance to do well throughout life.
This workshop looks at ways you can promote these important skills (including critical thinking, problem solving, digital literacy, creativity and imagination), while learning English through fun games and engaging activities.Suitable for parents of children aged 8 to 12.
In this workshop you will:
- Learn about what 21st Century Skills are, why they are important, and how they relate your child’s overall development.
- Learn some ideas of how you can use English to help develop these skills.
- Have a chance to try some activities and games that practice English and promote 21st Century Skills.
