British Council Japan Trial Test

The British Council in Japan is offering several trial test sessions. If you would like to take a trial test, please complete this form and we will get back to you soon.

Trial Tests give learners a chance to practise taking IELTS tests using genuine English questions under test conditions. After taking the Reading and Listening tests, test takers are given raw scores (i.e. the number of correct answers). Writing tests are marked by trained Cambridge English Examiners, and test takers receive an indicative unofficial Band Score. This helps learners to know which areas they need most practice in, and gives them experience and confidence in taking tests.
