Fisherman’s Friends, the blockbuster film which drew an audience of more than a million people in the UK, is being released in Japanese cinemas. The production team of Finding Your Feet turned the amazing true story of the British band Fisherman’s Friends, made up of real-life fishermen, into a film. Immediately after its UK release, the film’s reputation began to grow by word of mouth and it continued to run for a record five months. Set in Port Isaac, a beautiful little fishing village in south-west England, this seamen’s success story brings together a cast of Britain’s most talented actors. The growth of men whose values are overturned by music and the firm bonds between them produce this refreshing hymn to life.
