The Big Draw Festival, founded in the UK, takes place every year and, since its launch in 2000, this annual, international celebration of drawing, which brings people together under the banner ‘drawing is a universal language’, takes place in over 25 countries, involves over 1000 events and has encouraged over 4 million people back to the drawing board.
Tokyo-based British artist Divya Marie Kato launched Japan’s first Big Draw event 2017 and leads the event every year.
