Karen Shiraishi, pianist, composer and arranger born and raised in London, will perform a livestreamed concert produced by World Heart Beat Music Academy, a music charity in London offering music lessons to young people which Karen is an alumni of, and Yokohama Calling, a producer of collaborative arts events, specialising in raising awareness of Japanese musicians to a wider audience.
Karen will be joined by World Heart Beat affiliated musicians Jas Kayser (drums), Ezekiel Ajie (bass) with guests James Wade-Sired (trombone) and Ava Joseph (voice) to perform her original music along with some of her favourite jazz standards.
