Giant Flip Machine is a participatory work of art which invites participants to illustrate drawings on 50 double-sided flips (100 frames in total) to create an animation generating, human sized flip book to be installed in the landscape of Kanazawa. This project, designed by Mobile Studio Architects and its Director Chee Kit Lai, a London-based architect, brings together many people from the public to cooperate at different stages, from the machine’s production to its completion.
