New Directionsは、2013年より東アジアの主要な都市で実施されてきました。

この学術会議は、分野を超えた関係者の交流の機会を提供してきました。毎年行われる交流により、英語評価とテストに関しての重要な学術会議としての評価を受けています。この学術会議は、プレナリーセッションや、共同で行われるワークショップ、また、プログラム外の活発な意見交換のためのオープンスペースを設け、その年に選ばれたテーマについて議論します。
